In the midst of a landmark case between Apple and the FBI regarding data encryption privacy, it seems these two just can’t reconcile their differences, kiss, and make up.

Last week, the FBI filed a motion to force Apple to write a software tool that would eliminate many of the security precautions the company spent countless resources creating, effectively undoing all the security it has promised its customers to date. Like any spurned ex, Apple has retaliated by releasing all the embarrassing, needy, and overbearing texts the FBI has sent them in an effort to just take a look at their phone. It’s like they don’t trust them or something, you know?
